GapGuru Joins Year Out Group

GapGuru welcomed as full member of Year Out Group, the only specialist industry body for gap year travel.

BERKSHIRE, ENGLAND, March 02, 2011 (Press-News.org) The Year Out Group is delighted to announce that GapGuru has recently been accepted as a full member. GapGuru is a UK-based gap year specialist, which offers a wide range of exciting gap year volunteer, travel and internship opportunities across Asia, Africa, South America & Europe. GapGuru's membership to Year Out Group reflects its continued commitment to responsible gap year travel and the highest standards of customer service and support.

GapGuru was founded in 2004, when it set out to provide high quality programmes for the emerging gap year market. Today, GapGuru partners with over 100 overseas NGOs and community-based organisations, allowing it to offer a huge range of international gap year opportunities. Participants on a GapGuru programme can get involved in a diverse set of activities, from teaching English to caring for orphans, and from working as a medical intern to supporting wildlife conservation. Programmes last between 2 week and 6 months and participants are fully supported both in the UK and overseas.
