The exclusive deal means ImmunoReagents and Micotech will work closely to bring top quality antibodies to the Italian biotech, life science, and medical communities, which is one of the world's fastest growing biotech regions. According to a report in 2010 by the Italian Association for the Development of Biotechnology (ASSOBIOTEC), Italy "exhibits vigorous growth and excellent innovation capacity among researchers."
