HollywoodSportsbook.com Chooses "Rock Star from Mars" Charlie Sheen as Its Latest "Gambler of the Week"

The latest round of interviews reveals actor to be nothing short of delusional, or truly from another planet.

2011-03-04
SAN JOSE, COSTA RICA, March 04, 2011 (Press-News.org) Hollywoodsportsbook.com, (www.hollywoodsportsbook.com) a leading online entertainment gaming site since 1997, today announced that it has chosen Two and Half Men TV show star and self proclaimed "Warlock" Charlie Sheen as its latest "Gambler of the Week."

Robert Evans, Hollywood's Director of Operations says, "Wow! Now we know the truth about this guy. He is admittedly not human and therefore his actions according to Mr. Sheen, 'cannot be processed by a normal brain' and therefore must be normal rules of conduct in his otherworldly realm. I get it.

"Now we chose Mr. Sheen for our illustrious award, not because he is a famous actor that we are trying to milk, but simply due to the fact that he gambled with his cover as both a warlock and a rock star from Mars. Does this mean he is a rock star warlock from Mars? Wow... He must be the coolest dude on that planet...or maybe not...Maybe they threw him off that planet and that is why he is here on earth. But while here, he has made enemies of Jews, AA, cancer patients, addicts, CBS, Warner Brothers and the producers, cast and crew of his TV show with his recent comments. That's a lot of people... even for a rock star warlock from Mars, to be piss off in a few days."

Sheen however has made some of the greatest sound bites of all time with such zingers as:
- Yes I am on a drug. It's called Charlie Sheen
- CBS executives are trying to destroy my family and make me starve
- They picked a fight with a warlock...a war I will win with zeal, focus and violent hatred
- I am underpaid (he makes 1.8 million an episode); I want a raise
- They owe me an apology while licking my feet
- Jeez Dad shut it (referring to his dad Martin Sheen)
- All addicts who cannot get clean are fools and trolls, weak. Defeated.
- Walk through a cancer ward right now and find any of those motherf***kers who look like me.
- Relapsing and overdosing is for amateurs
- I have tiger blood and Adonis DNA
- I'm tired of pretending like I'm not special
- Come Wednesday morning, they're going to rename it Charlie Brothers (meaning Warner Brothers studio)
- Duh, Winning!
- AA is a broken down fool that was a plagiarist
- On why he misses rehearsals... "Come on guys, it's practice"
- I'm a bitchin' Rock Star from Mars
- I'm not angry, I'm passionate
- I closed my eyes and made it so
- You either love or hate. You live in the middle, you get nothing
- I'm delivering, and delivering with a sense of violent love
- Sobriety "bores" me
- Don't do crack. Drink chocolate milk.
- Stay off the crack, unless you can manage it socially. If you can manage it socially, then go for it, but not a lot of people can, you know? (speaking to kids) That's good advice.

Evans, goes on to say, "I do respect Charlie for the fact that he tried to move 5 porn stars in to live with him which led to his recent meltdown and hospitalization. I understand wanting that lifestyle no doubt. I myself am surrounded all day by the 4 Hollywood Hotties and they drive me nuts without having to also satisfy their sexual needs, so adding porn stars to the mix is certainly risky and dangerous, and a gamble I would not really want to take... except probably if I too were a "Rock Star from Mars."

For being chosen as our "Gambler of the Week," Hollywood is awarding Mr. Sheen with a $500 wagering account which we hope he can run up to thousands in order to fly back to his home planet, says Ms. Nicki Smith, Hollywood's Public Relations manager.
Additionally Hollywood has a special promotion in honor of Mr. Sheen. Sign up and make a deposit with them and they will give you an extra 20% Free Cash Bonus to use on their site using promo code GOW20.

Carlton International - No Luxury Property Crisis on the French Riviera
2011-03-04
It took years for the market to recover but recover it did. Scarred but intact the banking community tightened its internal regulations and the French Government established legislation to protect the purchaser from over indebtedness holding the banks responsible. The result is that while the rest of the world chose the easy money route into sub prime lending, the French banks maintained their control over the French lending market. The result is a relatively stable property based economy, with little devaluation at the lower and middle market price levels for properties ...

Penn research identifies potential mechanisms for future anti-obesity drugs

2011-03-04
PHILADELPHIA — An interdisciplinary group of researchers at the University of Pennsylvania has, for the first time, identified the neurological and cellular signaling mechanisms that contribute to satiety — the sensation of feeling full — and the subsequent body-weight loss produced by drugs used to treat type 2 diabetes. More comprehensive knowledge of these mechanisms could form the basis for anti-obesity medications. The group was led by Matthew Hayes of the School of Medicine's Psychiatry Department, Harvey Grill of the Psychology Department in the School of Arts ...

Earth's sixth mass extinction: Is it almost here?

Earths sixth mass extinction: Is it almost here?
2011-03-04
With the steep decline in populations of many animal species, scientists have warned that Earth is on the brink of a mass extinction like those that have occurred just five times during the past 540 million years. Each of these "Big Five" saw three-quarters or more of all animal species go extinct. In results of a study published in this week's issue of journal Nature, researchers report on an assessment of where mammals and other species stand today in terms of possible extinction compared with the past 540 million years. They find cause for hope--and alarm. "If ...

Jekyll and Hyde: Cells' executioner can also stave off death

2011-03-04
ATLANTA -- An enzyme viewed as an executioner, because it can push cells to commit suicide, may actually short circuit a second form of cell death, researchers at Emory University School of Medicine have discovered. The finding could shift drug discovery efforts, by leading scientists to rethink how proposed anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory drugs that target the enzyme, called caspase 8, are supposed to work. The results are described in this week's Nature. Caspase 8 has been described as "the killer you can't live without." This enzyme plays a key role in apoptosis, ...

Algal antifreeze makes inroads into ice

Algal antifreeze makes inroads into ice
2011-03-04
Sea-ice algae – the important first rung of the food web each spring in places like the Arctic Ocean – can engineer ice to its advantage, according to the first published findings about this ability. The same gel-like mucus secreted by sea-ice algae as a kind of antifreeze against temperatures well below minus 10 C is also allowing algae to sculpt microscopic channels and pores in ice that are hospitable to itself and other microorganisms. Altering ice to their benefit should help sea-ice algae adapt to a warming world, which is good news for hungry fish and shellfish ...

Kidney transplant recipients: Get moving to save your life

2011-03-04
Low physical activity increases kidney transplant patients' likelihood of dying early, according to a study appearing in an upcoming issue of the Clinical Journal of the American Society Nephrology (CJASN). The results suggest that patients need to exercise to fend off an early death. Inactive people in general face increased risks of developing cardiovascular disease and of dying prematurely. Individuals with chronic kidney disease—particularly those on dialysis—tend to get little exercise, but most increase their activity levels modestly after receiving a kidney transplant. ...
