Global High-Tech Company Plays on Big Stage

GenTech Scientific, Inc. to Exhibit at Pittcon 2011 in Atlanta, GA

ARCADE, NY, March 04, 2011 (Press-News.org) GenTech Scientific, Inc. a high-tech business in Arcade, New York will participate in Pittcon, the world's largest annual conference and exposition for laboratory science.

Clair Bragg, President and founder of GenTech Scientific, Inc. relates that, "GenTech is the global leader for refurbished analytical instruments, service and training and Pittcon offers GenTech People a great opportunity to meet with our customers and prospects in person and to learn more about industry developments throughout the world. We began participating in Pittcon shortly after our formation fifteen years ago. This year we will have two separate exhibits. One will focus on service and the other on products."

Bragg continues, "GenTech fills an industry need by purchasing used analytical instruments and refurbishing them for sale to a broad range of customers throughout the world, including: universities, private research and testing laboratories, forensic laboratories, governmental agencies, pharmaceutical companies, food processers and other manufacturers. In addition to refurbishing analytical instruments for sale, GenTech is the leader for servicing equipment both at its Arcade facility and at customers' facilities. GenTech also offers instrument training at customers' locations and at GenTech Technical Institute, also located in Arcade, where we train customers from around the world."

Pittcon, scheduled for March 13-18 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, attracts nearly 20,000 attendees from industry, academia and government from 90 countries worldwide. The conference will offer the latest technology and instrumentation from more than 950 exhibitors, a diverse Technical Program of over 2,200 abstracts to technical presentations, over 100 Short Courses, and networking sessions that provide the opportunity to exchange innovative ideas with scientists from around the world.

Pittcon is organized by The Pittsburgh Conference on Analytical Chemistry and Applied Spectroscopy, a Pennsylvania not-for-profit educational corporation, which donates nearly a million dollars each year in the form of science equipment grants, research grants, scholarships and internships for students, awards to teachers and professors, and grants to public science centers, libraries and museums.

The United Nations, by proclamation, has named 2011 as the International Year of Chemistry (IYC).
