ContractorsFromHell.com has been an online resource for consumers who are looking for tips and answers on what to look for when hiring contractors, questions they should ask, what to include in their written agreements and red flags to watch for to name a few. As the site grew in popularity, Jody found herself answering queries from homeowners around the country who were having problems with their contractors and began her blog addressing those queries.
Additionally, Costello has worked with the California Contractors State License Board as an advocate for consumers working to bring greater visibility for better consumer protection and education. She has also testified before the California State Senate in support of consumer protection bills related to contractor state laws.
