Fresh Goddess offers a dose of self love merged with urban zen flavor. Founder and editor, DuEwa Frazier created Fresh Goddess to inspire women to get ahead, shine bright and live with balance and inner clarity. Fresh Goddess reveals perspectives on spirit, relationships, style, life purpose, health and beauty reviews.Frazier has experience creating online content for women. She previously wrote inspirational and self-help articles as a contributing writer for MysisterMyself.com and MahoganyButterfly.com. Her popular column "Fly Butterfly" featured at MahoganyButterfly.com. An entrepreneur at heart, Frazier is no stranger to launching creative and successful businesses. She founded Lit Noire Publishing, a creative arts and publishing organization in 2002 with the release of her first book of poetry Shedding Light From My Journeys. Frazier has since published and edited several publications. She has written numerous essays, editorials and arts profiles for both print and online publications. Her work has featured in Essence Magazine, Allhiphop.com, Reverie, Poetry Ink Anthology, Poetry In Performance, Voice, Kweli Journal, Mosaic and others.
Frazier has been an active member of the arts and journalism media communities since moving to New York City from her hometown of St. Louis. She has featured as a performance poet, speaker and author at schools, festivals and arts venues. Frazier has been profiled in Rolling Out, Ave Magazine, St. Louis Argus Newspaper, The St. Louis American, Femmixx.com among other outlets. Frazier's anthology, Check the Rhyme: An Anthology of Female Poets & Emcees (2006) received several award honors including nomination from the NAACP Image Awards. Frazier's other titles include: Stardust Tracks on a Road (2005), Ten Marbles and a Bag to Put Them In: Poems for Children (2010) and forthcoming, Goddess Under the Bridge.
