In stock for fast delivery, this new compact "size-15" servo-mount encoder measures only 1.5 inches in diameter, less than one inch in height and offers four different resolution options from 100 to 2500 pulses per turn.

Its compact size and proven reliability make it the perfect solution for the OEM and single-piece user alike. Of its many possible applications, the CS15 provides rotary position and velocity information to operate motion control and robotic systems. Each encoder ships with state-of-the-art opto-asic circuitry designed to provide a clean, reliable quadrature output signal to practically any PLC or electrical interface.
The CS15 might be a new product, but these encoders have been used as part of the Celesco line of products for many years. "These are time tested encoders and are a proven work horse," Bishop said. "These are in stock and we're able to ship them immediately."
Precision ball bearings support a durable stainless steel shaft to help ensure this durability and long life, Bishop said. Environmental suitability is IP50 and it can be operated at temperatures from 0 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit.
