TARZANA, CA, March 05, 2011 (Press-News.org) InfoStreet Inc., Cloud pioneer and provider of business Cloud applications (apps) has expanded their flagship solution, StreetSmart, to now include both Employee Directory and Email Archiving at no extra cost to the users of the StreetSmart suite. This move to provide the expanded offering is in recognition of the growing importance of email archiving for protection against accidental or intentional deletion of emails. StreetSmart's automatic Email Archiving solution is easy to use, requires no setup for users, and is Cloud-based - providing convenient anytime, anywhere access. Employees can restore their accidentally deleted emails, but only administrators can delete archived emails. Email Archiving therefore not only makes companies more efficient, but also brings them closer to compliance in situations where emails have to be kept to protect employers. InfoStreet will now offer free email archiving to all users of the full StreetSmart suite.
"In our effort to champion small business productivity and security, we felt that our automatic Email Archiving should be available to all businesses so that they could not only increase their productivity, but also be protected against loss of email," said Siamak Farah, CEO of InfoStreet. "However, by the same token, we didn't want to force a charge upon our customers so we've decided to include this application for free to our users."
In addition, InfoStreet will now offer a Cloud-based Employee Directory app as part of the StreetSmart suite. Companies can now do away with paper files, which often become obsolete the moment they are printed. Since each employee can update their own profile, employee contact information is now always up-to-date. StreetSmart's Employee Directory software provides the ability to securely store, access, and maintain important employee information online. Administrators can choose what information is to be kept, and employees decide which information they would like to share with their co-workers and which to provide to the administrators only. The new Employee Directory application also gives employees the ability to get in touch with one another - day or night, when it is most needed.
