CARY, NC, March 09, 2011 (Press-News.org) Amplified Art, located in the City Market area of downtown Raleigh, added How Do You Roo to their inventory last week. How Do You Roo offers readers advice from those who have attended the Bonnaroo Music and Art Festival, the four-day camping music festival held every June in Tennessee.
Amplified Art is a music-themed gallery and boutique featuring local art, clothing, books and offers poster design. The book, which rose last month to the #3 spot in the Top 100 Travel Books on Lulu, is available at select retailers in the Southeast and online. Amplified Art is the first retailer in the Triangle area to sell the book. "Amplified Art's vision is to offer visitors the connection between music and art. Adding How Do You Roo to their product offering seemed like the perfect fit," said the book author, Tara Lynne Groth. "In April, Raleigh-Durham music lovers can look for the book event at Amplified Art. We're planning a book talk and performance by local musicians."
The How Do You Roo Book Tour kicks off at 6PM this Friday, March 11th at Firestorm Cafe in downtown Asheville, North Carolina, immediately followed by indie duo Lawrence & Leigh (The Life & Times of SXSW Tour). Firestorm Cafe is located at 48 Commerce Street. The Park Road Bookstore in Charlotte, located at 4139 Park Road, will host a book discussion on Saturday, March 12th at 11:30AM. April will bring tour stops to Charleston, Savannah and Raleigh. Boston, New York City and Wilmington, North Carolina are lined up in May.
