GRAPEVINE, TX, March 10, 2011 (Press-News.org) Salon and Spa Galleria launches new website to inform visitors of services offered at its salon and spa in Grapevine as well as information on studios and spaces for lease for potential tenants. The web address for the new site is www.salonandspagalleria.com and one of its unique features is that each tenant can have a personalized web page for their business.
"When we reopened this salon and spa in Grapevine TX we really wanted to do it right and felt that the launch of a website would help push its success," Owner Ron Sturgeon said. "One of our goals was to help those in the cosmetology field without a job find a retail lease to start their business as well as help out current tenants by offering a customized web page that displays their specialties."
Tenants at the health spa have the option to meet with Sturgeon's web development team to discuss what they would like to appear on their customized web page. Although not required some of the tenants find it useful to display their skills and experience, such as how long they've been doing hair styling and what types of styles and hair cuts they can perform.
Sturgeon is constantly updating his website to make it search engine friendly as well as making it easier for visitors to navigate and use the site. His goal is to help the cosmetologist with ambition looking to expand their business both online and offline.
"Whether they're a stylist or into skin care I want to help the businessperson with the drive for success that just needs some direction," Sturgeon said. "With a little help in the right direction your business could grow leaps and bounds."
Salon and Spa Galleria is located in front of Grapevine Mills Mall and currently has lease space available as well as private studios.

"This means there is hope for patients who are tobacco dependent and feel they have exhausted every other means of trying to quit smoking," says ...

Hit multiple targets for maximum benefit in HER2-positive breast cancer, studies suggest
2011-03-09
Combining targeted therapies might be required for maximum anti-tumor activity when treating HER2-positive breast cancers, according to two new studies by Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center (VICC) investigators.
The findings, reported in two papers in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS), suggest that upregulation of the HER3 receptor limits the effectiveness of two classes of targeted therapies (HER2- and PI3 kinase-targeted therapies). Therefore targeting HER3 together with these agents should improve their clinical utility.
