Lisa Elia Public Relations Launches Coaching Program for Fashion & Product Designers

New, affordable Exposed: PR Coaching & Connections for Fashion & Product Designers program teaches fashion and product designers how to gain visibility on TV, magazines and other media, from Lisa Elia PR.

LOS ANGELES, CA, August 13, 2010 (Press-News.org) Lisa Elia Public Relations is launching Exposed: PR Coaching & Connections for Fashion & Product Designers, an affordable PR coaching program that enables emerging fashion and product designers to gain visibility. Founder Lisa Elia and her team will train fashion and product entrepreneurs to do their own PR using the principles they have used to secure placements for clients in InStyle, Vogue, Women's Wear Daily, California Apparel News, Elle, E! Entertainment, Los Angeles Times, Time and many other outlets as well as celebrity product placements with Jennifer Lopez, Courteney Cox Arquette, America Ferrera and many others. The program begins September 21, 2010 and ends March 29, 2011.

Participants will receive PR expert Elia's Secrets of PR Success Recorded Course, an A-to-Z public relations course for fashion and product designers, with 16 written lessons and recordings based on her over 20 years of public relations experience. Every other Tuesday, Elia will lead a 90-minute, live, interactive group call with PR instruction and Q-and-A.

Exposed PR group members will receive publicity opportunity leads, information on gift guides and celebrity gifting opportunities, celebrity product placement, and national fashion and lifestyle media lists to pitch their product/designs. Elia's in-person media training day will help participants prepare for in-person meetings with the press at suites hosted by the agency after fashion- and product-related events.
Elia offers these tips:
• "Make your media pitches compelling by tying into trends, citing anecdotes or presenting the need your product serves.
• Have plenty of samples available for the press and expect that some will not be returned.
• Before you go on a media interview, be sure you know the unique features of your product and how to tell your story concisely."
