Could Alpha-Stim Technology Help to Treat Insomnia and Other Ailments?

Alpha-Stim and EPII technology are the newest forms of treatment being used to treat insomnia, pain, depression, anxiety, PTSD and many more ailments.

2011-03-10
MINERAL WELLS, TX, March 10, 2011 (Press-News.org) For those suffering from pain, anxiety, depression or post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), there is a new treatment that has been approved by the FDA and the DOD/VA. The treatment is called Alpha-Stim cranial electrotherapy stimulation (CES). The new treatment is delivered using a pocket sized electronic device that uses ear clip electrodes to deliver a low level current in a precise waveform configuration of less than one milliampere directly into the brain for 20 to 60 minutes at a time. This technology offers a newer, cheaper and less invasive way to treat many people who up until now were unable to find the necessary help.

To treat pain, the devices will be used with electrode patches that are attached to the body in order to offer rapid and cumulative relief. Many patients who normally suffer from pain or anxiety are noticing immediate and faster relief with Alpha-Stim therapy than they ever did with pharmaceuticals. The Alpha-Stim waveform is supported by countless scientific researchers, more so than any other medical device. In fact, there have been more than 55 studies and reviews conducted on the Alpha Stim 100, the Alpha-Stim CSC and the Alpha-Stim PPM.

Currently, this form of microcurrent therapy is being used to treat depression and it is especially used to treat anxiety, but microcurrent electrical therapy is showing promise with:
• pain relief
• joint pain
• back pain
• neck pain
• headaches
• wrist pain
• paralysis
• arthritis
• ADD
• sleeplessness
• TENS
• MET
• mood disorder
• stress
• tight muscles
• holistic medicine

Microcurrent technology is thought to affect the parts of the brain stem that is known to regulate emotions such as the limbic system, the reticular activating system and the hypothalamus. It is also thought to stimulate regions that control pain and the signals that occur in people experiencing anxiety or depression.

In most cases, especially for patients experiencing pain, relief is found within just a few minutes. And because it works so well and because it is backed by so many researchers, Alpha-Stim is now being used by certain government sectors including psychiatric hospitals and prisons. Experts believe the Alpha-Stim therapy is safer than any other effective therapy for those experiencing insomnia, depression, anxiety or pain.

About Alpha-Stim.com: Alpha-Stim is a new technology that uses specific waveforms of energy to help treat anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADD, ADHD and many more. The technology, which is largely backed by researchers and the FDA and DOD/VA, is currently being used in the private sector as an effective and safe treatment of many psychological disorders.
