PHUKET, THAILAND, March 11, 2011 (Press-News.org) The festival will be held in Northern Ireland from 22-25 April. The four days of events will see participants asked to tackle a variety of challenges ranging from relays, string courses and more.
Although events will occur throughout the Mountains at Mourne and central to the 'Queen of the Glens' portion of the Antrim Coast and Glens area, the overall event is within close proximity to the Belfast Airport. This means that competitors can choose between one of several well-equipped Befast Airport hotels and rest assured that their accommodation needs are taken care of.
In addition to being easily accessible from locations near the airport, the Festival of Orienteering can also be reached via a twice-daily bus service that runs between Belfast and Dublin.
In an effort to be sensitive to the budgetary needs of competitors who may be travelling from outside of the Northern Ireland area, entry fees for the competitions of the Jan Kjellstrom 2011 Festival of Orienteering will be held at the 2008 pricing level. Interested persons can indicate their intentions to compete in particular events by submitting their entry forms by postal mail or electronically.
