Early Pregnancy Scans Available At Medically Led Private Ultrasound Clinic In Dublin 2

A private ultrasound clinic which opened in Dublin 2, to meet the increasing demand for prenatal ultrasound services, offers as part of their wide range of scan services.

DUBLIN, IRELAND, March 11, 2011 (Press-News.org) The clinic, Merrion Fetal Health, is a consultant led centre of excellence, with a team of highly experienced sonographers and clinic co-ordinators.

Merrion Fetal Health is also known as No. 60 at the National Maternity Hospital, located on 60 Lower Mount Street, Dublin 2. The clinic offers ultrasound for all stages of pregnancy including early pregnancy scans, anatomy and growth scans, nuchal scans, as well as gynaecological and fertility scans being available on referral.

The Dublin 2 Pregnancy Ultrasound Clinic is a medical collaboration between Dr Peter Mc Parland, Dr Stephen Carroll, Professor Fionnuala Mc Auliffe, Dr Shane Higgins and Dr Rhona Mahony; all of whom are Consultant Obstetrician Gynaecologists with specialist training in Fetal Medicine, based at the National Maternity Hospital, Dublin. Additionally the team of sonographers at Merrion Fetal Health are all highly experienced hospital sonographers.

The prices for the various stages of pregnancy scans are competitive, starting from EUR120 for an early dating pregnancy scan. Additionally Merrion Fetal Health offer a Loyalty Scheme, of a EUR30.00 discount on third and subsequent scans in each pregnancy.

Merrion Fetal Health is ideally positioned to offer peace of mind as well as the option of follow on care with a fetal medicine specialist at the National Maternity Hospital, if patients so wish. Merrion Fetal Health is open to all women not just those attending the National Maternity Hospital. Patients attending the clinic who require blood samples to be taken can avail of the dedicated phlebotomy clinic in the Private Suite.
