SVP of Sales, Mitchell Chi, to Participate in Aggregate Spend Technology Solution Roundtable

2011-03-11
EMMAUS, PA, March 11, 2011 (Press-News.org) Health Market Science (HMS), a leading source of healthcare provider data and compliance solutions, will contribute to the discussions associated with Aggregate Spend Technology Solutions at the National Disclosure Summit, March 9-11 in Washington, DC. The Third Annual Summit is the Leading Forum on Disclosure, Transparency and Aggregate Spend for Drug, Device and Biotech Companies.

Mitchell Chi, senior vice president, life sciences at HMS, will be part of a roundtable discussion on technology-based solutions designed to help life sciences manufacturers maintain compliance with current state-based aggregate spend reporting requirements as well as pending federal regulations associated with the Sunshine Act.

This is the second year Mr. Chi has been invited by the Pharmaceutical Compliance Forum to share his real world experiences with industry.

"I look forward to spirited discussions with my industry colleagues," said Chi. "Technology is only one component to a comprehensive aggregate spend reporting solution. If your spend recipient customer master file is not what we call compliance-grade, your risk increases significantly."

Sponsored by the Pharmaceutical Compliance Forum, the three-day conference features a number of informative sessions including introductions to aggregate spend, overviews of federal and state law implementations and best practices in compliance readiness and reporting.
