GARDEN GROVE, CA, March 12, 2011 (Press-News.org) Budo Videos, which proclaims to have the largest selection of martial arts products in the world, recently unveiled a new line of products that should excite those who practice BJJ or who are just interested in the martial art. These include a series of instructional DVD's by Brazilian Jujitsu legend Chris Brennan, as well as a new Shoyoroll Gi called the White Mamba.
The first DVD by Chris "The Westside Strangler" Brennan is titled 'Nogi Guard Passes'. This DVD is designed to show practitioners the best ways to pass the Nogi guard. The DVD can be used by both BJJ practitioners and mixed martial artists alike and will show viewers how to open their guard, and how to close their guard using several techniques such as the knee scissor pass and the difficult same side head pass from half guard. There is even a bonus section where Brennan reveals his rubber guard and X-guard passes.
The next DVD in the series is titled 'Nogi Sweeps'. In this DVD, Brennan offers his favorite sweeps, which include sweeps from the closed guard, from the butterfly guard, half guard and X-guard. Budo Videos also released a new Shoyoroll Gi called the White Mamba. This is the second Gi of the East vs. West series of Gi's for Shoyoroll's batch #8. Featuring design work by John Smalls, the lightweight pearl weave Gi offers 12 oz. rip stop pants and it comes with a limited edition Gi bag.
