CLEARWATER, FL, March 15, 2011 (Press-News.org) Direct mail marketing firm, PostcardMania, wins the 2011 United States Postal Service Creative Business Solutions award for the Southwest Area. The award is bestowed on "postal customers who use the mail in new and different ways ... with mail that stands out and gets results," according to the USPS website.
"We're so honored that the Post Office chose us for this award," says Joy Gendusa, Founder and CEO of PostcardMania. "It's very exciting to continue our partnership with them to increase small business marketing nationwide."
To qualify for the award, a company must be nominated by an USPS employee. PostcardMania was nominated by Linda Racine, who regularly works with the firm, saying:
"Recently, PostcardMania partnered with USPS in a Sales Direct Mail Effectiveness Program. Special training was provided by PostcardMania to the USPS sales team on various sales initiatives to engage small to medium size businesses in the use of direct mail...the results of this program have been favorable for PostcardMania and the USPS."
Previous recipients of the award include General Motors, Macy's, Trader Joe's, Disney and Blockbuster. PostcardMania and Gendusa will be presented the award at the National Postal Forum in San Diego later this year.
