NASHVILLE, TN, March 16, 2011 (Press-News.org) iTrip, a full-service international vacation management and rental company, announced it has signed a license development agreement with Carla Moore to open an office in Laguna Beach, Calif. With this signing, iTrip now manages vacation properties in more than 20 U.S. territories.
"Laguna Beach has a premier collection of vacation properties. By bringing iTrip to the area, property owners and vacationers now have a company they can count on for both sides of the travel equation," said Moore. "Laguna Beach draws crowds year-round with great weather and world-class events. There is no doubt that iTrip's unique collection of management services is filling a void locally."
Ideally suited for today's economic environment as a low-barrier to entry investment, iTrip's expansion plans call for licensing growth into vacation areas spanning Southern California, along with other key destinations throughout North America and beyond. The company launched three years ago, and in the last six to nine months has tripled its revenues compared to a year ago and doubled the number of its managed properties.
Before joining iTrip as a licensee, Moore supervised an 80-person staff at 28 West Coast branches of a staffing company, which generated $500 million in yearly revenue.
"Carla is an experienced professional with a track record of success," said Tom Bissmeyer, one of three founding members of iTrip. "We're glad to have her aboard to make iTrip the choice for anyone seeking to turn their vacation property into an income source or to improve on their current management of the property."
Professionals who live in vacation markets or within a four-hour drive are fueling iTrip's expansion. Typically they have 20-plus years of corporate experience and a desire to replace six-figure salaries that may have been lost through forced downsizing or through chosen career changes.
The scalability of the business model allows licensees to grow their property management business to 100 units and beyond. Properties under management range from one-bedroom condos to multi-million dollar, 4,000 to 5,000 square-foot homes.
"Momentum for the services we offer to vacation property owners and travelers continues to grow," added Bissmeyer. "We look forward to expanding into additional key resort destinations in the coming months."
