EVANSTON, IL, March 16, 2011 (Press-News.org) Fara Group Inc. today announced it has leased a 3,186 square foot commercial space at 918 Chicago Avenue to Few Spirits, the first alcohol distillery to operate in Evanston, IL.
Representing the landlord, 920 Chicago Ave LLC, Fara Group was able to structure a non-traditional lease that was contingent upon Few Spirits receiving permits and federal, state and local licenses to distill and sell alcohol.
âEURœFew Spirits represented a high quality tenant that would need to have their space secured before they could apply for the permits and licensing they needed,âEUR said Fara Group Vice President Joe Carollo. âEURœWe were able to structure the deal to mutually benefit both landlord and tenant and enable an entrepreneur to open a groundbreaking new business in Evanston.âEUR
Few Spirits is the first business to craft and sell alcohol in Evanston, which is considered the birthplace of prohibition. The company is making significant improvements to its new location, converting it from a one-time auto repair shop to a distillery, tasting room and retail shop.
Fara Group Inc. provides first class, unequaled service in property management, brokerage and investment services while raising the bar on industry standards. The Fara Team has over 50 years of collective experience in real estate and is committed to offering innovative solutions, providing support and achieving the financial goals of its clients.
