LateRooms.com - Madrid's Estampa Offers Opportunities to Buy Art

Tourists eager to buy some top-notch Spanish art could head to Estampa in Madrid.

2010-09-09
MADRID, SPAIN, September 09, 2010 (Press-News.org) Art lovers should clear some space in their schedules for Estampa if they are heading to Madrid hotels in October.

This innovative event should offer people plenty of opportunities to pick up a variety of artistic creations without being charged over the odds.

As well as pieces by established artists there will be plenty of emerging talents showing off their work in the "maze of booths" at Parque Ferial Juan Carlos I, noted travel listings website What's on When.

"Lithographs, etchings, silkscreens and aquatints are on sale at affordable prices during Estampa, Madrid's print and contemporary art editions fair," it added.

The occasion takes place from October 20th to 24th 2010 and the guest artist this year will be Jose Pedro Croft, a Portuguese professional who has had his work displayed in numerous domestic and international exhibitions.

He told the organisers that the most important part of his work is the little nuances, so attendees can expect an intriguing look for the festival.

His creations are characterised by a careful process of construction and reflect the transience of the universe, according to the Estampa technical committee.

No details regarding entrance prices or opening hours have been published, but these will appear closer to the time.

For more information on this event visit the Estampa website or contact the venue on +34 902 22 15 15.
