Connecticut retailer hopes to jump start sales with lower prices and new website.

STAMFORD, CT, March 18, 2011 (Press-News.org) Overstocked merchandise, coupled with the arrival of new inventory has forced Connecticut Weathervanes to slash retail prices. Company spokesman, Kevin Nizolek, announced that this Spring Sales Event will be a great opportunity for consumers to purchase high quality weathervanes, cupolas and finials at rock bottom prices. Also, all online purchases over $100.00 will be rewarded with free shipping within the Continental United States to help promote sales.

Established in 1998, Connecticut Weathervanes specializes in hand crafted weathervanes, vinyl and wood cupolas and pure copper finials. The retailer's website boasts the largest selection of home and garden weathervanes in North America.

In spring of 2010 a new website was launched, http://www.ctweathervanes.com, with hopes of expanding sales throughout the United States. According to Nizolek, sales have been sluggish thus far, but this is typical of the current economy, not to mention a harsh winter where new construction has come to a halt.
