September 15th IREM Meeting Presents Question Answer Session with Local Certified Property Managers
Real Estate experts to share personal and professional experiences with organization members and guests

The Greater Raleigh-Durham Chapter 105 of the Institute of Real Estate Management's (IREM) September meeting will take on a question-and-answer format as Certified Property Managers Frank Livingston, CPM and Rex Thomas, CPM speak to organization members and guests. The event will take place at noon on Wednesday, September 15th at One Eleven Place/Raleigh Board of Realtors located at 111 Realtor's Way in Cary. IREM Chapter 105 President Elect, Jason Stowe, CPM , will act as moderator.Frank Livingston has been a CPM since 1965 and is currently a real estate consultant and broker. He says that as a past IREM National President, his perspective on IREM is somewhat unique and that his general involvement in IREM, including education and committee work, has had a lot to do with his success.
"IREM created a positive influence on new business development, personnel development, and consulting assignments both domestic and international," says Livingston. "I am a firm believer that you get out more than you put into any professional organization. I hope by sharing my experiences that I will be able to convey that message."
Rex Thomas, CEO and Chairman of Grubb & Ellis|Thomas Linderman Graham, has been a member of IREM since 1987 and a CPM for over five years. He says that he is particularly looking forward to seeing many of his colleagues and sharing his thoughts with them.
"IREM is a great organization and has done a lot to increase the professionalism of property managers across the country," says Thomas. "I hope to use this opportunity to communicate to attendees how much our clients depend on our professional integrity, experience, and expertise to ensure their properties are being well served. Our industry has high expectations of us today."
Chapter President Elect Jason Stowe is pleased to be able to provide his membership the chance to get to know such respected and admired individuals in the industry and expects a meeting that is enlightening and may hold some surprises.
"I'm excited about showcasing two of our distinguished members at our September meeting," says Stowe. "Frank and Rex are a wealth of experience in real estate management and will provide a meaningful member experience for our chapter and guests. They may also provide us with some unintended memorable experiences as well since we've asked both to share their favorite story or most embarrassing moment."
