BEVERLY HILLS, CA, March 18, 2011 (Press-News.org) ActorCast.com is giving the witty, the dry, and even the uncouth, a shot at a role in the acclaimed producer and former President of Paramount Pictures, Brad Weston's, new comedy. Acting as the only casting site for talent, agents, and managers that links directly with Cast It, the leading casting system used by major studios and casting heads, ActorCast has got the X-Factor. Now thru March 22, 2011, aspiring actors can submit their audition online via ActorCast.com.
The new semi-improvised comedy feature film is looking to cast non-guild talent between the ages 20-30 to be part of a comedic ensemble. Although filming will take place in Central America from May 1, 2011 thru May 20th, it will make no difference where actors are located when it comes time to audition. ActorCast has made it easy for those interested to download the audition scene/sides, where they may the film their audition and upload it directly to the film's casting directors.
"By extending actors the opportunity to audition for major roles via the internet we not only give them the chance to put their best foot forward, but we also make the role accessible to individuals who would not otherwise be able to physically attend an audition," says Chris Gantos, co-founder of ActorCast and Cast It. "In addition to benefiting the talent, ActorCast also streamlines the casting process for casting directors through access to a wide database of actor profiles and reels."
As the critically-acclaimed choice for 90 percent of produced studio films as well as an impressive archive of television series, Cast It is the ultimate showbiz connection. And with exclusive access to Cast It, ActorCast is the red carpet of casting sites. Both aspiring and emerging actors have landed roles in notable feature films, including The Twilight Saga: Eclipse and Project X.
After producing box office hits such as Star Trek and more recently, The Fighter, Weston teams with ActorCast in search of new comedic talent for his upcoming feature film. Funny guys and gals can audition by visiting http://www.veilmoviecasting.com.
