SGS Collaborates with SDC to Deliver Colour Training

SGS is now delivering its SDC ISO Colour Fastness Training Program in China. The program was designed to supply knowledge in vital keys areas and promote best practice.

FAIRFIELD, NJ, March 24, 2011 (Press-News.org) In January 2011, the Chief Executive of the Society of Dyers and Colourists (SDC), Ms. Susie Hargreaves, signed an agreement for collaboration with Mr. Spencer Yeung, Vice President of SGS Global Softlines.

SDC (http://www.sdc.org.uk ) is the leading independent charity dedicated to advancing the science and technology of colour worldwide. The Society offers a range of industry-proven, internationally recognised qualifications and training courses.

Working with SDC's ISO Colour Fastness test methods, the SGS training program's purpose is to help trainees work, think and learn more effectively, with focus being provided on topics of fundamental concern.

The SGS SDC ISO Colour Fastness Training Program (http://www.softlines.sgs.com/consultancy-and-training.htm) is designed to ensure that all along the textile supply chain, tests can be carried out more effectively and efficiently and with correct analyses. Training program modules have been laid out for all key personnel, including designers, buyers, garment technologists, fabric makers, dyers and garment makers and so on.
