The winner of the Christmas Mountain Village Rock Star title will receive round-trip airfare and a one-week vacation (a $2,500 value) to any Bluegreen resort in the continental United States based on availability. Similar to the popular American Idol contest, the Christmas Mountain Village Rock Star Competition is open to any Bluegreen owner visiting the resort.

The Christmas Mountain Village Rock Star Competition is held at 9 o'clock p.m. every Saturday night at Bluegreen's on-site restaurant and sports bar, Mulligan's. A finalist will be selected every week to perform live in the Christmas Mountain Village Rock Star Showdown on August 20, 2011. Finalists will compete in front of a live audience with the help of a professional sound system and live band.
