DOYLESTOWN, PA, March 26, 2011 (Press-News.org) Specialty Ring Products has recently rolled out an upgraded design on SpecialtyRing.com. The site now features more information about metal forging and more photos of the metal forging process at their facility in Bensalem.
Specialty Ring Products has been producing forged rings for industry for over 120 years. The company's founder, armed with a patent for his ring-shaping apparatus that rolled and forged seamless rings, set out to gain a reputation as a reliable source of industrial parts. His efforts, and those of successive generations, have established a successful and prosperous enterprise.
In this age of accelerating technological change, Specialty Ring's management is committed to not only keep up with but also help define the state of the art in ring-rolling capability. They do this by continually seeking and integrating new technologies through each phase of the manufacturing process. This includes the deployment of skilled technical and engineering personnel, the networking of computers throughout the plant, and ongoing staff and professional development.
William T. McCreavy founded the Schuylkill Forge Company and established a nationwide reputation for supplying reliable, high performance steel forgings. In October 1910, Mr. McCreavy's ring shaping apparatus was patented in the United States setting a standard for the forged rings industry. Today, the McCreavy family still owns and operates what is now called Specialty Ring Products, Inc.
