CLEARWATER, FL, March 26, 2011 (Press-News.org) Miles For Hope, Inc. will hold a Moving Towards a Cure Brain Tumor 5K Awareness Walk/Run on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at 10 am at Sloans Lake Park in Denver, CO. Over 200 supporters are expected to participate
"We hold this awareness walk in 11 cities across the country," says Robert Gibbs, founder of Miles for Hope and a brain tumor survivor. "As an organization, we want to ensure that more people have access to the same treatment that has helped save my life."
The event is open to all ages. Same-day registration is at 9 am, event begins at 10 am. Registration is $20 registration fee for adults, free registration for children under 12 years. Participants can walk/run individually or form a team. Post-event celebration to follow the race and includes an award presentation, remembering those battling brain tumor disease as well as those who lost their battle.
