RED DEER, AL, March 29, 2011 (Press-News.org) Inspirational speaker and keynote speaker Joe Roberts motivated and encouraged the administrators and members of the Consulting Engineers of Alberta 14th Annual Transportation Conference last week with his motivating "Skid Row CEO - Discovering your Brilliance" presentation.
The event took place at the Capri Hotel and Conference Center, at 3310 - 50 Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta, Canada on March 13th - 14th, 2011. Roberts' presentation "Skid Row to CEO" highlighted his unique "rags to riches" personal life story, which inspired his audience of Alberta Engineers to overcome adversity and use their talents and knowledge to become leaders in their fields.
"The greatest Tragedy of life is not that is ends too soon but that we wait too long to begin it." said Joe Roberts in his presentation. "There is Brilliance in all of us!"
His message proved to the audience that regardless of what type of adversity one faces, everyone has the ability to overcome it, and everyone can use their brilliance to make a positive impact in the world.
During his keynote speech Roberts highlighted many key moments in his personal life from his extensive childhood drug addiction to his successful comeback as President and CEO of Mindware Design Communications and Mindware Internet Solutions. Although his addiction started at age nine, Roberts overcame his adversity, realized his potential and successfully completed two business degrees from Loyalist College in Belleville, Ontario.
