Following rigorous assessments of Center Parcs' carbon reduction measures, by an independent assessor, the Carbon Trust Standard was presented to Center Parcs in acknowledgment for its efforts to reduce carbon emissions.
In order to achieve the Carbon Trust Standard, organisations must provide an accurate footprint measurement including all required emission sources, demonstrate an absolute reduction of your footprint or equivalent relative efficiency improvement and demonstrate good carbon management including carbon governance, accounting, reduction methods and targets.

Acas' 2009/10 annual report shows that it dealt with more than 900 collective disputes in the past year. Ninety-four per cent of cases, including high profile disputes such as Royal Mail and Milford Haven Port Authority, were either resolved or the parties were moved towards a resolution.
