Hallelujah It is Spring! Easter egg hunt and family music event scheduled for April 16 in south Minneapolis

Hundreds of children and parents expected to take part in this popular free Easter egg hunt and Musikgarten family music sing along at Trinity Lutheran Church of Minnehaha Falls

MINNEAPOLIS, MN, March 31, 2011

In celebration of the end of this very long Minnesota winter, the third annual Hallelujah - It is Spring! Easter egg hunt will be held on Saturday, April 16, from 10 until 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church of Minnehaha Falls, 5212 41st Avenue South, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55417. Last year, nearly 250 parents and young children attended this free event, which included a fun family sing-along and music class designed to introduce young children to making music.

This Easter egg hunt is being hosted by Musikgarten of Minnehaha Falls (www.MusikgartenTwinCities.com) and Trinity Lutheran Church of Minnehaha Falls (www.TrinityFalls.org). It will be held inside Trinity Lutheran Church beginning at 10 a.m. with a family music sing-a-long for children ages birth to 5, followed by the egg hunt and complimentary refreshments.

Prizes such as gift certificates to Target, musical instruments, and more will be awarded to children and their families who find the specially marked eggs. Every egg will have a special sweet treat inside.

Musikgarten of Minnehaha Falls provides music classes for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. Classes are designed to nurture the childs music aptitude by engaging families in singing and movement activities which attune the ear, refine the voice, and develop a rhythmic body.
