NEW YORK, NY, April 03, 2011 (Press-News.org) After more than a decade as a member of the hip-hop duo Dead Prez, multi-dimensional revolutionary emcee and producer stic.man is releasing his newest solo project, The Workout on April 12, 2011. The Workout is an all ages, health & fitness-themed, hip-hop album celebrating the drive and dedication one undertakes to achieve a health and fitness lifestyle. In an era of rising childhood obesity, high levels of diabetes, and growing interest in keeping fit, "The Workout" accompanies stic.man's new website RBGFitClub.com to provide a soundtrack and online platform to promote holistic health, fitness, and wellness.

Stic.man is well known as a purveyor of social causes thru his music with dead prez and his extensive contributions as a community activist and an entrepreneur in media. He has also been a vegan and martial arts student for many years. His collaborations and dead prez albums have stood at the forefront of interweaving politically charged ideas and healthy lifestyle messages into hip-hop culture.
