LEAWOOD, KS, September 10, 2010 (Press-News.org) Financial Life Planning pioneer George Kinder, who moved his family from America to London for an extended stay in August, will return to the U.S. to lead a new one-day workshop and participate in the annual Life Planning Conference in Denver. Mr. Kinder is founder and President of the Kinder Institute of Life Planning (www.KinderInstitute.com). The Institute offers a series of Financial Life Planning programs. Additionally, the Institute confers the Registered Life Planner designation to graduates who successfully complete its curriculum.
The one-day workshop entitled Breakthrough Conversations Beyond the Numbers: How to Strengthen Your Business Using A Rich Client Interview Process will be offered on Friday, October 8th in Denver, Colorado. "This is a convenient date and location for people coming to the FPA Annual Conference that starts on October 9th," said Roger Wellington, Executive Director for the Kinder Institute of Life Planning. "This special new workshop is an intensive introduction to the Kinder Institute's EVOKE method of Financial Life Planning. This dynamic program teaches advisors the keys to uncovering a client's most exciting, meaningful, and fulfilling aspirations and how to incorporate these deeper life goals into compelling financial plans." Registration information is available online at https://www.kinderinstitute.com/numbers.
Kinder will attend the FPA Denver 2010 Conference and will be doing a book signing as well as hosting a community room gathering at some point during the convention. "Anyone interested should watch the FPA catalog of events or stop by the onsite bookstore to check for date and time," Wellington said.
Kinder will attend one more important event during his trip: The Kinder Institute of Life Planning Conference, which will be held October 12th from 2pm - 8pm and October 13th from 9am - 5pm. This event begins right after the FPA Denver 2010 Conference ends, to make it easier for people to simply extend their stay and participate with Kinder and his team in this much anticipated annual gathering of Life Planning practitioners. The registration fee, which includes meals but not lodging, is $345. "All are welcome," Wellington said. "Financial advisors who are curious about how financial Life Planning works should consider attending both the Breakthrough Conversations Beyond the Numbers course as well as the Kinder Life Planning Conference." Details for the Kinder Institute's annual life planning conference are available at https://www.kinderinstitute.com/event_documents/Event-Info-2-Day-2010-07-15-PA.pdf.
Kinder will return to London, rejoin his family and resume his work in the U.K. and Europe on October 14th.
Mr. Kinder was a tax and financial adviser for over 30 years, eventually developing his signature EVOKE structured interview process that is used to broaden and deepen the discovery and goal-setting process with financial advisory clients. Graduates of his programs report significant changes in their style of practice and results with clients.
Kinder moved his family to London in August so that he could spend more time working with practitioners in Europe and the U.K. Mr. Wellington and other Kinder Institute staff members remain in the United States to meet the needs of U.S. constituents.
