Custom-Writing.Org - Stretch Your Intellect: Participate In Our Quiz

Custom-Writing.org is setting up a fun quiz for anyone: check which famous writer is similar to you!

2011-04-07
LONDON, ENGLAND, April 07, 2011 (Press-News.org) Its always important to keep the fans involved with the fan page on Facebook, if a company chooses it to be the main source of communication with its fans, followers and clients/customers. That's why the Custom-Writing.org academic writing project decided to organize a contest for the fans, or anyone who stumbles upon their page.

"We had a lot of debate and decision making involved in this process. First, we thought that a contest with real prizes and/or financial rewards for the winners, would be great. But, as we stated earlier, we are just starting our path through the social media jungle. There's still a lot to explore and we are not sure about certain things. We know that we obtained more than 4500 fans in just a couple of months, but that still doesn't give us the right to openly plan our social media strategy without preliminary research and review. So we decided to take it slow and start with a quiz. Maybe you always wanted to find out which of the famous writers resembles you? Which of the writers would have the same character and interests? Of course, the quiz is more of a good joke than an actual insight into participants' psychological similarities with actual best selling authors. But we are sure, that our fans will appreciate it!" - says Carolyn Marwick, one of the head managers at the Custom-Writing.org academic writing project.

The project expects to deliver tons of funs to its fans through this quiz. Custom-Writing.org will make the quiz available within the next couple of weeks and you can check it out on their Facebook page at facebook.com/custom.writing.org. The project plans another promotion, which will probably more rewarding as well as entertaning. But they still want to keep it a secret, because there's a lot of brainstorming to do in order to completely set up the contest. If you are a company still considering a contest for your Facebook fans - don't waste time: set it up ASAP.

The huge tsunami triggered by the 9.0 Tohoku Earthquake destroyed coastal towns near Sendai in Japan, washing such things as houses and cars into the ocean. Projections of where this debris might head have been made by Nikolai Maximenko and Jan Hafner at the International Pacific Research Center, University of Hawaii at Manoa. Maximenko has developed a model based on the behavior of drifting buoys deployed over years in the ocean for scientific purposes. What this model predicts about the tsunami debris can be seen in Figure 1. The debris first spreads out eastward from ...
