Global Timeshare and Fractional Awards Program Receives Exceptional Response From The Vacation Ownership Industry

Online voting will begin on April 5th to assist in deciding the winners from more than 150 entries submitted for the inaugural Perspective Magazine Awards Program.

NORTHUMBERLAND, ENGLAND, April 07, 2011 (Press-News.org) To help choose between over 150 entries submitted for the Perspective Magazine Awards Program, to be held the evening of May 12th, 2011 during GNEX 2011, online voting will be open to timeshare and fractional industry professionals beginning Tuesday, April 5th.

Online voting will be conducted through the Perspective Magazine website at http://perspectivemagazine.com, with voters asked to go to the website and follow the links for instructions on how to place your vote for your favorite individual or company. Voting will conclude at the end of April, when the votes will be added to the decisions of a select panel of industry experts in a process to decide the award winners.

The selection process will begin for categories ranging from "Best Resort Development" to "Entrepreneur of the Year", ensuring an evening of anticipation as the winners are crowned from their respective areas of expertise.

With such an outstanding response in the first year of the event, the groundwork is laid for the future success of the program according to Paul Mattimoe, president and CEO, Perspective Magazine.

"The entries for our initial awards program have exceeded our expectations and we are ecstatic about the number of companies that have chosen to be a part of the program," said Mattimoe. "Our unique online voting system will allow industry professionals to help select the winners and bring a truly global presence to the process."

Top decision-makers from the vacation ownership industry will convene at one of the most sensational destinations in North America, the Atlantis Resort in Nassau, Bahamas, for an exciting night of entertainment and suspense as awards are presented in front of an audience representing the magazine's North America, Europe & Middle East, Asia Pacific and South Africa readership regions.

Industry associations from five continents have given their support to GNEX 2011, which will be held over May 11th-12th, 2011 and will take a comprehensive look at the industry from a global viewpoint. Attendees from the USA, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, South America, UK, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Russia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Australia will be examining creative new ways to grow their businesses.
