LONDON, ENGLAND, April 07, 2011
Dodging discs has never been so fun with indie developer RX Games' new offering Maximus Discus, available from 11th April 2011. With its innovative and intuitive controls, players will be immediately hooked on the old school action gameplay. Maximus Discus boasts three different modes, including a range of mini games which guarantees to keep players entertained for hours. With a total of six different types of discs, Maximus Discus offers players a multitude of game tactics in order to progress through the game's 50+ levels. Dodging isn't the only name of the game however - players are able to draw deflectors to reflect enemy discs back at them, turning defence into attack. This unique feature allows a new level of gameplay dynamic never seen before in any game in its class.
Explaining why the touch controls are so intuitive, co-creator, Lee Wong says: "Our Trong engine can accurately predict player intentions. We spent over a month refining this feature alone! With this, every disc thrown takes the player one step closer to becoming the Maximus Discus". Will Wan, fellow creator adds: "Since adding in the armoury system, we're constantly finding out new disc attacking combinations. I'm eager to hear of any new tactics from our players!"
Maximus Discus will be available for 99p (discounted from GBP1.99) at the Android Market from 11th April 2011.
Maximus Discus Free (ad supported) will also be available on the same date.
