DiscountMugs Begins New Charity Project

Well known promotional products supplier, DiscountMugs, has recently begun their new charitable efforts, with plans to move forward with more charity projects throughout the year.

2011-04-08
MIAMI, FL, April 08, 2011 (Press-News.org) DiscountMugs is one of the largest promotional product suppliers in the nation. For many years, they have serviced both companies large and small, as well as online shoppers, for all of their promotional product and personalized favor needs. A private company, family owned and operated by President Amin Rahman, DiscountMugs has been known time and time again to work for the customer. "When we started out, we specifically designed this company to print all of our products in-house, cutting costs and passing the savings onto the customer with the lowest prices available in the industry," Rahman explains, "We are more interested in building lifelong relationships with our customers, than in jacking up prices and making more money." With over a decade of printing experience, DiscountMugs ( http://www.discountmugs.com ) has become a leader in the promotional products industry. After the economy took a massive downturn in the past recession, DiscountMugs happily extended their free shipping sale, in efforts to help aid the tough budgets customers are working with. Now, DiscountMugs is raising the bar again with plans to begin their new charity project.

In efforts to give back to the community, DiscountMugs has begun looking for new charity projects to take on for 2011, and like all things they do, they are jumping in head-first. Within just weeks of deciding to move forward with these long-awaited efforts, they have already organized with a team in need of tote bags for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life Event. "Over the years, we have seen such growth and great response from customers, it's time for us to give back in other ways. We are all very excited about the future charities we plan to work with," Steven Cu, CIO states. In addition to the plans they have made for specific projects, DiscountMugs has begun their efforts for their large non-profit organization project. "We are still working on the specifics, but our main charity project we have in mind is what we are most excited about. If we can pull off successfully organizing it, we hope that it will give back to the community in great ways," Julie O'Neal, Marketing Coordinator explains.

With plans to move into their new, larger facility in just a few months, it will be exciting to see DiscountMugs begin this new venture. On top of constant, exponential growth, DiscountMugs is a company that continues to give back in many ways, always putting the customer first. In the twisted economy many face today, it is refreshing to see companies still working for the better good.
