Drucker & Falk Properties Honored by Tidewater Multifamily Housing Council

RALEIGH, NC, September 10, 2010

South Hampton Roads' multifamily housing communities and professionals know "there's no place like home," the theme of their industry's prestigious Associates' Showcase, Awards Banquet and RAM Graduation held July 22 at the Virginia Beach Convention Center. More than 600 members and guests of Tidewater Builders Association's Tidewater Multifamily Housing Council gathered to celebrate those who went above and beyond to make their residents feel at home at the event, now in its 26th year. Merit Awards were presented to individuals for outstanding performance, and additional awards were presented to outstanding properties in South Hampton Roads, competing in categories based on curb appeal, amenities, overall condition of the community, and when they were completed.

With 101 communities vying for recognition, 42 were recognized as 2nd Runner Up, 1st Runner Up and Overall Winner in each category. Among these, several Drucker & Falk communities were recognized. They are:

Adult and Senior Housing completed before 1995
Haygood Hall, Drucker & Falk- Overall Winner
Old Donation, Drucker & Falk- 1st Runner Up

Communities completed between 1981-85
Holly Point Apartments, Drucker & Falk- 1st Runner Up

Renaissance Award for communities completed 1960 & before
Bondale Apartments, Drucker & Falk- Overall Winner
