COMMACK, NY, April 14, 2011 (Press-News.org) Now that they have passed their 20-year anniversary, one would think that Splendor Landscaping, the famous Long Island landscaping company, would slow down a bit. The truth, however, has been quite different. If anything, every year goes by, the company seems to grow in momentum, effectiveness and popularity.
The company began as many other companies have before it. A small outfit, initially focused only on lawn maintenance, with humble goals. In 1989, when Splendor Landscaping originated, it had just two solitary employees, an interesting counter to what they have today. But over time, their growth outpaced even their expectations. According to the owner, "Like any other company we of course had lofty goals and dreams. However, we also knew that the only way to achieve those goals were through hard work, and respect for our customers. I believe we have achieved that."
As mentioned, the company initially was only concerned with the basics of lawn maintenance. However, as time progressed their operation slowly expanded. They began hiring new employees to keep pace with a steadily increasing workload. Additionally, they began expanding their services that they offered to their customers. They began to incorporate basic masonry and landscape design. After a mere four years in existence, not that long of a period of time for a new and coming company, they had already secured 150 active accounts, necessitating the hiring of new employees. By 1997, after just 8 years in existence, they no longer even focused on lawn maintenance at all, preferring instead to offer the more specialized services of masonry and landscape design. According to the owner, "It just felt to us that we had more to offer than simply lawn maintenance. Landscape design, masonry, driveways and patio work, are much more of a craft than lawn maintenance. It also allowed us to serve our customers in new and exciting ways, that made the choice a no brainier."
This one small business has now evolved into a company with over 22 employees, 6 trucks and 4 excavators. In just over 20 years, they have served over 1000 properties on the island, no small feat in itself to be ignored. Similarly, there is no signs of them slowing. "We just know that innovation and evolving are the keys to maintaining a long steady business. As technologies change, and the desires and wants of our customers change, we need to change along with them. If anything, I would label that our most impressive success," said the owner.
Aside from the services mentioned, Splendor Landscaping offers services in irrigation and lawn and sod. On their website, you can see a full gallery of images related to the company as well as information on their generous financing services.
For a Long Islander, there is really no other choice than that of Splendor Landscaping.

2011-04-14
Misconceptions abound about the range and limits of female fertility. POF is a loss of ovarian function occurring at too young an age to be considered natural, although premature, menopause. Not only will these young women potentially lose their reproductive capabilities, but they ...

Aedan Pharmaceuticals of Lansdale, Pennsylvania, had the product: XRP - a rapidly dissolving powder energy formula that is delivered direct-to-mouth, tastes good and, because of its microencapsulated, powder form, provides a steady "time-released" energy.
They also had NFL superstar Brett Favre as the product spokesperson.
Now, all they needed was the perfect, single-serve package. Perhaps it was serendipitous, then, that Marlton, New Jersey-based T.H.E.M., an innovative packaging solutions company, was just three exits up the NJ Turnpike from the plant where XRP ...

Go Green and Reduce Foodservice Costs by Controlling Water Quality
2011-04-14
The Link Between Water & Utility Costs
A foodservice location uses a significant amount of water, which can directly result in increased utility costs. Water bills and electricity bills are actually linked expenses. Water quality, specifically high levels of hardness and TDS, can cause inefficiencies in equipment that either heats or cools water.
This image shows the heating element inside a boiler-based steam oven. As little as a 1/4" of scale buildup can decrease energy efficiency by nearly 40%. Imagine a typical combi oven that costs $1500 a year in electricity: ...
