ST. PETERSBURG, FL, April 14, 2011 (Press-News.org) Chef Elizabeth Dougherty from Food Nation Radio Network , will be back to perform a free cooking demonstration and tasting themed for the upcoming Cinco de Mayo holiday at the Grand Kitchen & Bath Culinary Showroom on Wednesday, April 27th from 5pm to 7pm.
"We're really excited for our Mexican-themed cooking demonstration", said Richard Valmain, owner of Grand Kitchen & Bath, "everyone loves Mexican food, and what better reason to celebrate than with fresh tortillas, salsas and other treats."
Guests will sample cuisine through the Mexican menu including homemade Tortillas, Salsa Verde, Red Salsa, Shredded Pork Tostadas with Black Beans and Cotija Cheese, and other surprise treats.
The live cooking demonstration and radio broadcast will take place at the 3,000 sq ft Grand Kitchen & Bath location. The culinary showroom allows for cooking seminars in a wide variety of cuisines and styles, which are held on a monthly basis.
Elizabeth Dougherty has been cooking and writing about food intensively for more than ten years. Her radio show, Food Nation, airs every Saturday morning at 9am on WTAN, WDCF, WORL and KLRG.
Grand Kitchen & Bath is located at 2600 4th Street in St. Petersburg; the showroom and retail outlet is open Monday through Saturday.
