Sulphur Springs, TX, April 11, 2011 - The Nursing staff and physician owners of First Surgery Suites will be offering free CPR training, Blood pressure checks, Blood sugar testing and Body mass index calculation following the 10 am ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, April 27, 2011. US Congressmen Ralph Hall will speak at the ribbon cutting, and a variety of physicians and healthcare providers from Northeast Texas will also be in attendance. Following the ribbon cutting ceremony there will be tours of the 13,000 square foot facility, in addition to food, refreshments and educational information on a wide range of medical services.

First Surgery Suites is a fully independent, physician owned surgery center that brings 14 medical and surgical specialists to Sulphur Springs for more than more than 80 types clinical and surgical services. First Surgery Suites has been delivering high quality, convenient and affordable care in Northeast Texas since May of 2010 and has already delivered service to more than 600 patients, with reports of patient savings ranging from 16% - 54%. Patient surveys show satisfaction rates of 95% - 100%.

First Surgery Suites has a firm commitment to community outreach and service, including participation in food drives, health education, creation of new jobs, supporting local businesses and providing specialty medical care that has never before been available in the region. As a privately owned surgery center, there is no cost to the community for having these services available, and many specialties such as Orthopedics, Urology and Gastroenterology are not otherwise available in the region.
