NORTH WALES, PA, April 16, 2011 (Press-News.org) Area moms are invited to kick back and relax at the Montgomery Mall on Thurs., May 5, 2011 from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. in honor of National Mom's Nite Out. The free event will feature mall-wide shopping discounts and free food and drink from participating restaurants such as Starbucks Coffee, Bertucci's, Auntie Anne's, Chick-Fil-A, and TGI Fridays.
The highlight of the event will be a moms apparel fashion show featuring hot styles and trends carried by various mall retailers. Representatives from mall stores will be available to share fashion tips and trend insights. The Body Shop will be providing free mini-facials; Yankee Candle will host Scent Mixology Lessons; and LensCrafters will perform eyeglass frame consultations. Raffle prizes include American Express gift cards and merchandise from mall stores. Moms will receive gift bags that will include Gertrude Hawk Chocolate, cosmetics samples and other items. Select Comfort will be providing mattress demonstrations and giving away a free travel pillow with the purchase of a Sleep Number bed.
"With Mother's Day around the corner, this was the perfect event to say 'thanks for all you do' to moms in the region," said Kirsten Boettcher, mall spokesperson. "Mom's Nite Out provides the opportunity for moms to enjoy time with girlfriends, take a break from their busy schedules and really celebrate what being a mother is all about."
Representatives from Cradles to Crayons (C2C) will be presenting about the organization whose mission is to provide children living in low-income or homeless situations the basic essentials that they need to feel safe, warm and ready to learn. Moms are encouraged to donate children's items like new socks and underwear, crib bedding, puzzles, games, baby toys or books. National Mom's Nite Out is part of a national effort by Simon Property Group to help celebrate all that mothers do for their families.
