HUNTERSVILLE, NC, September 11, 2010 (Press-News.org) Local crafter, Brandy Cox has created a girls weekend away designed for crafters who love to rubber stamp. Brandy's Fall Stamping Getaway will offer two days and one of night of serious stamping, November 6th and 7th.
This event is open to all levels of crafters and will include four technique classes with one-on-one hands-on instruction. Cox, who holds her own classes and stamping events out of her own studio in Huntersville, will instruct the classes.
"First and foremost, this will be just a fun 'getaway' weekend for the ladies," said Cox. "But it's also a great opportunity to learn some new stamping techniques and get inspired for your next project."
There are four different classes scheduled during the weekend event. The Big Shot Show-off, Watercolor Techniques, Heat Embossing and Punch Art make up the four classes included in the weekend package. Stampers will also have an opportunity to win more than $300 in awards and prizes, including the grand prize - a Stampin' Up Big Shot Die Cutting system.
"My main goal is to encourage and inspire the ladies throughout the weekend. There is nothing like receiving a hand made greeting card to let someone know you are thinking of them or to let them know you care."
Brandy's Fall Stamping Getaway will be held at the beautiful Pinehurst Resort. All-inclusive per person pricing begins at $269.32 for a double occupancy room and $342.41 for a single. Pricing includes one room night, four meals, and a Saturday night dessert party, all at the Pinehurst Resort. Also included is the stamping product needed for the four instructional classes, as well as an amazing goodie bag valued at more than $75.
