DirectRooms.com announces that people with a passion for dancing, or those just looking to improve the coordination of their two left feet, can head to Florence to see a weekend dedicated to tango.

2011-04-20
PHUKET, THAILAND, April 20, 2011 (Press-News.org) Firenze Tango Festival 2011 is four days of professional dance displays, combined with workshops run by experts and plenty of audience participation. A total of 30 artists of international fame will be taking part in the event to highlight the best of what can be achieved in this form of dance. Performances are set to run each night and dancers from all countries are invited to take part, show their moves on the dance floor and make it an international event.

The festival runs from 28th April to 1st May 2011 and during that time 40 classes are due to be held for dancers of all levels of experience from semi professionals to enthusiastic amateurs. The events are running in the Saschall Theatre and depending on people's preference they can choose to dance to traditional or alternative tango while the DJs and live orchestras provide the music.

Organisers have arranged a number of packages from single lessons up to six classes and these can be mixed with dance nights at the theatre although dancers will have to find their own hotels in Florence which are likely to be filling up quickly with attendees.

Lek Boonlert, marketing head at DirectRooms.com, commented: "The festival offers dance fans the chance to learn from people in the industry and will see people from many countries attending. People will be searching out hotels locally and this is going to lead to shortages unless people prebook early."
