PERTH, AUSTRALIA, April 21, 2011 (Press-News.org) Perth's Scitech education and exhibition centre is opening its doors to adults at the end of the month for a one-off club night.
On April 30th 2011, the venue plays host to Scitech After Dark, offering over-18s the chance to enjoy an evening of partying and fun with luminous lights.
Visitors will be able to paint on the walls using torches, freeze their shadows and find their way through a maze while attempting to dodge lasers that set off an alarm.
They can also take an exclusive sneak peek at Scitech's new interactive art and technology installation. Known as the Sound Chamber, it measures people's movements and uses them to create a unique audiovisual display.
All of the building's popular exhibitions - such as Climate Change: Our Future, Our Choice - will also be open on the night.
Food and drink will be available at the on-site bar.
Proceedings are scheduled to kick off at 18:00 local time and run until 22:00. Tickets cost AU$10.
Scitech is located on Sutherland Street, West Perth. It can be reached by catching a train from Perth City Station to the City West centre, via the Fremantle Line.
Techies looking for cheap hotels near the venue can find a wide array of Perth hotels at LateRooms.com.au.
