LVS Nominated for EGR's 'Sportsbetting Supplier of the Year' Award

Sports betting platform powers French national lottery's online sportsbook and some of the world's largest commercial operators

2011-04-21
LONDON, ENGLAND, April 21, 2011 (Press-News.org) Leading sportsbook and racing technology provider LVS is honoured to have been short listed in the EGR B2B Awards "Sportsbetting Supplier of the Year" category.

Recently acquired by the French national lottery, La Française Des Jeux, LVS, is the chosen sportsbook and racing partner to some of the world's largest gaming operators. The company's Advanced Betting Platform (ABP), which earned the prestigious nomination, helped FDJ generate more than EUR1bn in sports betting revenues last year.

A culmination of over ten years of continuous development, the Advanced Betting Platform enables operators to build a bespoke site -- 100% multi-lingual, multi-currency and driven by a sophisticated content management system - for a fraction of typical development costs.

"Apart from having the most modern sportsbook on the market today we believe customer support is the single most important part of what we offer," said Simon Ordish, CEO of LVS. "With all of our partners we always push to have onsite support where LVS personnel integrate with the customer's IT."

The EGR Awards will be presented at a gala dinner hosted by Talksport presenter and former Sky Sports anchor Richard Keys on Tuesday 3 May at Chelsea Football Club in London.
