Children's Book Author & Local Philanthropist Jaclyn Stapp to be Honored at Upcoming 'BRIDGE BUILDER' Women's Luncheon

The May 19 Luncheon Honors Women Who Are "Bridge Builders" Within the South Florida Community

BOCA RATON, FL, April 27, 2011 (Press-News.org) Jaclyn Stapp, a public speaker and children's book author, was selected as an honoree for this year's inaugural City Year Miami's 'Bridge Builder' Women's Luncheon, being held Thursday, May 19, in Coconut Grove. Jaclyn was selected as an honoree for her accomplishing work as a children's book author and her involvement in numerous charitable organizations. City Year Miami is a non-profit organization that supports the Miami-Dade Public School System in its efforts to help youth succeed in school and realize their potential.

Jaclyn, who will speak at the inaugural women's luncheon for leadership, volunteerism and community involvement, will be amongst honorees including Florida Lieutenant Governor Jennifer Carroll and CBS Channel 4 Anchor Shannon Hori. The luncheon is being held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Woman's Club of Coconut Grove.
