TAURANGA, NEW ZEALAND, April 27, 2011 (Press-News.org) New business, Marketing Geek Ltd, has launched this month in New Zealand offering internet marketing services exclusively to service businesses.
The business has been formed by internet marketing consultant Luke Foster. He's based in Tauranga in the Bay of Plenty, but will serve clients throughout the country.
Foster says many service businesses in New Zealand only make a poor use of the internet, but with a good system there is so much opportunity to get more business.
New Zealand business owners have little information on how to use the internet. As a consequence most are disappointed with the results they get.
"Kiwi business owners get fed the idea that putting up a website is all they need to do to get clients, but that doesn't usually work out," says Foster. "A website that isn't promoted won't achieve anything. You've got to bring in qualified prospects so you can convert them into clients."
While there are many businesses offering web help and marketing advice to business, there a few that cross the gap and truly cover combine both skill sets.
The name Marketing Geek represents the merging of the geeky internet skills with hardcore marketing principles.
Beyond that, the focus is something dear to businesses owners, cashflow. "At the end of the day it's about the numbers. How many dollars do you get out of your marketing for every dollar you put in?" says Foster.
Services offered include marketing strategy, website development, lead generation, sales processes and more.
Marketing Geek offers internet marketing for service businesses. Director and consultant, Luke Foster can be reached at +64 7 218 0278 or http://www.marketinggeek.co.nz
