San Diego Air Conditioning, Heating and Ventilation Service Provider Suggests Seasonal Maintenance

Gabriel Carini, who owns a San Diego air conditioning, heating and ventilation company, is recommending people tune-up their residential and commercial HVAC systems before summer to maintain efficiency and avoid problems.

2011-04-28
SAN DIEGO, CA, April 28, 2011 (Press-News.org) San Diego air conditioning service expert Gabriel Carini advises tuning-up all residential and commercial HVAC systems this spring, before getting into the months of the year when the air conditioning unit is running the most.

"A regular maintenance schedule for HVAC systems keeps the units operating at top efficiency and helps avoid problems that occur from neglecting routine maintenance," said San Diego heating and air service owner Carini.

The San Diego air conditioning, heating and ventilation company offers a 12 point tune-up for 79 dollars. The technician comes to the residence or business and does a complete inspection, making any needed adjustments to the unit. Carini Air guarantees the work provided by their San Diego air conditioning repair field technicians unconditionally. The spring tune-up inspection includes 12 points:

1. Examining operating temperatures (evaporator temp drop)
2. Testing voltage and amperage on all units
3. Checking and adjusting supply and return vents
4. Tuning-up and lubricating all motors
5. Washing or changing air filter
6. Cleaning drain pan and condensate line
7. Refastening electrical connections
8. Inspecting for refrigeration leaks
9. Inspecting, and if needed, adjusting thermostat calibration and contacts
10. Checking, and if necessary, making changes to starting contacts
11. Oiling bearings where needed
12. Verifying that the ductwork is clean

"I also recommend a fall tune-up for the unit to make sure the furnace is in good shape before winter. You don't want to be caught without your HVAC system just when you need it most. The goal of tune-ups is to prevent that," said Carini, who owns the San Diego heating service.
