Graphite Design to Participate in the 2011 Haggin Oaks Golf Expo

Graphite Design will display its complete line of products at the Expo. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience the latest Tour-proven products including the new G series shaft which is slated for a June 1 introduction.

2011-04-29
SAN DIEGO, CA, April 29, 2011 (Press-News.org) Graphite Design, maker of some of the most widely played premium shafts on the PGA TOUR, announced that it will exhibit at the upcoming Haggin Oaks Golf Expo April 29, April 30 and May 1, 2011 at the Haggin Oaks Golf Complex in Sacramento, California.

Graphite Design will display its complete line of products on the driving range at the Expo. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience the latest Tour-proven products including the new G series shaft which is slated for a June 1 introduction and the recently introduced Tour AD DI - Deep Impact Hybrid shafts and Tour AD DJ shafts.

The G series shaft is the next generation of premium Graphite Design shafts and is very adaptable to today's new head technology. Currently the G series shafts are being tested and played on the PGA Tour. The G series performance characteristics favor a low to mid launch trajectory and mid ball spin. The new X Directional Technology - XDT - incorporates the use of the already proven Graphite Design MSI (Material Stiffness Integration) design method as well as this new and unique application of graphite fiber alignment throughout the shaft structure. This proprietary application of XDT has made the new G series the most balanced, versatile high performance golf shaft available today.

The new G series shaft are available in four weights: 40 gram (Lite, Regular and Stiff flexes); 50 gram (Lite, Regular and Stiff flexes); 60 gram (Regular, Stiff and X-Stiff flexes); and 70 gram (Stiff and X-Stiff flexes). The G series products will be available beginning June 1, 2011 and will have an MSRP of $199.00.

The newest addition to the successful, high performance Tour AD DI products, the Tour AD DI Hybrid is designed with the same performance characteristics as the Tour AD DI shafts. The low torque and a high kick bend profile provide a tour like trajectory with mid spin and pin point accuracy. Players of all skill levels benefit from the exceptional control and workability, superior performance and feel characteristics of the Tour AD DI Hybrid shafts.

The new Tour AD DJ premium golf shaft features a mid bend profile with a more active tip section than the Tour AD DI. This unique material technology and bend profile produces a jump in overall distance while maintaining optimal launch and spin characteristics. The Tour AD DJ shaft is designed and manufactured exclusively at Graphite Design Japan with the same Toray Company's Nanomaterial technology in the tip of the shaft as the Tour AD DI.

Revolutionary technology, design, and the most advanced materials are trademarks in all Graphite Design shafts, making them the highest quality premium golf shafts on the market today. Validating the company's "Tour AD" logo, all of Graphite Design's PGA Tour-proven shafts specifically promote "Accuracy and Distance". These key competitive advantages are helping professional and amateur golfers optimize their games after switching to Graphite Design shafts. Graphite Design continues to be the most dominant shaft on the JGTO Tour and has been for the past eight years.

Graphite Design International manufactures the highest quality shafts in the world for Pure Distance and Perfect Accuracy. Graphite Design shafts can be seen in play by the best professional players on the PGA, Nationwide, Champions, Japan, European and LPGA tours. Graphite Design shafts reinforced its dominance on the Japan Tour, where it has claimed 163 consecutive graphite wood shaft brand counts -- an unprecedented streak which dates to 2003. On the PGA Tour, Graphite Design shafts have helped professionals earn 75 victories since 2004 and millions of dollars in prize money.
