Hawaii Food and Wine Festival - 50% Discount Monday

TasteHawaiiOnline.com offers a one-time only 50%-Off sale for its "Hawaii Food and Wine Festival" on Monday, May 2, 2011.

2011-05-01
SAN RAFAEL, CA, May 01, 2011 (Press-News.org) There has been numerous requests from Hawaii residents for a kama'aina discount for the "Invitation To Foodies" culinary seminar at the Makena Beach and Golf Resort on Maui. This seminar benefits three Maui non-profits. The non-profits are the Friends of the Children's Justice Center of Maui, Haku Baldwin Center and Ka Lima O Maui.

As sponsors of the event, TasteHawaiiOnline.com had to first consider how a discount would affect the quality of the seminar, the lecturers, the presentations and the food.

Local chef personalities are asked to share their knowledge of food and recipes in exciting and interactive information-packed seminars. Local chefs participating in the event are Chef Beverly Gannon, Chef Ryan Luckey, Chef James McDonald and Chef Brian Etheridge.

Chef Marc McDowell and his staff, at the Makena Beach and Golf Resort, will prepare 5-star world-class breakfasts, lunches and dinners. The criteria for all meals to be served is fresh, organic, creative and locally grown and raised.

Sommeliers will share their expertise about wine and lead wine tasting seminars.

Local agricultural experts and farmers will share their thoughts about the soil, the fruits, the vegetables, marketing their product and competition and how it affects your health - the consumer.

Last, but not least, the attendee is a big consideration. Is the attendee registering for the taste experience, the seminar or the gratitude that he/she receives knowing that a portion of the ticket price goes to helping local non-profits sustain community?

All things considered, TasteHawaiiOnline.com will offer a "Special Discount" for Hawaiians, kama'aina and travelers. This would apply to everyone.

This "Special Discount" is for ONE DAY ONLY - ONE TIME ONLY!

The date and time of this "Special Discount" is Monday, May 2, 2011, 8:00am - 9:00pm/PST.
